Maree is an analytical chemist “by trade” and a quality management and accreditation and certification expert. With qualifications in science, management, policy development and law, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience to help organisations through many kinds of business and technical problems.

Maree is the founder and Principal Consultant of MAS Management Systems, a boutique consultancy practice that assists labs and other technical organisations with issues relating to accreditation, certification, quality management and business systems, and process improvement. She also works with laboratories to develop and improve their measurement processes, including assisting them with method validation and verification and measurement uncertainty.

Maree is also a practising solicitor and founder of a software company, Pericles Software. Her interests are in science and technology, particularly emerging trends in digitisation, automation and AI, law and politics. She also likes to travel, cook and play music in her spare time.
